Strawberry Milk

It is currently strawberry season here in PA and my CSa box came with a box of glorious ones - small, but packed with flavor.
Most of them I just ate as is but, this evening, my ressessive sweet tooth kicked in, and I had nothing in the house. This strawberry milk is reminiscent of childhood, thick and creamy and delicious and hit the spot perfectly.
1 1/2 cups of strawberries, washed, hulled and halved
1 cup whole milk
2 tsps sugar
Splash of vanilla
Just place in your blender and blend. You can blend until smooth or do as I did and blend rapidly, leaving some chunks that you can spoon out as you drink this. And yes, you can replace the milk with ice cream for a different experience.
